Release 06 is the first PURSUE tranche to publish paperwork from AAWSAP, a Defense Intelligence Agency program that ran roughly from 2008 to 2010 and commissioned technical studies of advanced aerospace concepts. Two of the records are administrative: a Statement of Objectives describing what the government sought, and a solicitation and original order documenting how the work was procured. The other two are DIRDs — literature-review studies that survey where the science stood on a given topic. A DIRD describes what is theoretically possible; it is not evidence that any such technology was recovered, built, or observed. The set documents how the government framed advanced-aerospace research questions rather than any conclusion about UAP.
